This couple that runs a consultancy firm, has set up over 300 libraries across the country, in order to make books accessible to children even in remote areas.
Right from the villages of Meghalaya to the conflict-ridden parts of Jammu & Kashmir, the duo has managed to ship books to prisons, schools and hospitals, everywhere through their network of volunteers. Over 70% of the funds for their organization, Food4Thought Foundation, set up four years ago, come from the founders’ pockets. Their aim: to set up 500 libraries by the end of this year.
