Set up in 2015, her free-for-all Good Will store in Mehdipatnam is a one stop destination for the poor looking for essential commodities clothes, utensils, blankets, shoes. The garage-turned-store bustles with activity on Thursdays and Saturdays the two days its doors are thrown open to all with over 70 people turning up every week.
Everything in the store is donated and anybody can walk in and walk out with things they need. Though most of items are brought by people who have heard of Manjula's initiative through word of mouth, she also has a Facebook page that has caught the attention of good Samaritans who have reached out to contribute. Often, it doubles up as a health camp where the poor are provided free consultations and medicines. Her aim to inspire more people from privileged families set up tiny stalls and gave away things they can forgo, so that many more lives can change for the better.
